In the spirit of compassion and solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan, the Religions for Peace (RfP) Bangladesh Chapter organized a humanitarian initiative to support vulnerable families in rural Chattogram. The program aimed to provide essential food items to marginalized households who are experiencing increasing economic hardship. In January 2026, Religions for Peace Bangladesh hosted a high-level mission to Cox’s Bazar by Ms. Deepika Singh, Deputy Secretary General of Religions for Peace International, and Rev. Religions for Peace (RfP) Bangladesh Chapter organised a special Meditation Programme for its members on Friday, 28 November 2025, at the Chattogram Elite Club. The session was led by Ms. Shantisree McGrath, Director of the Sri Chinmoy Centre, Chittagong.The programme began with a tribute to the late Reverend Dr. Nobuhiro Nemoto, former Secretary General of RfP Asia (ACRP). We have received the report of the Chattogram Peace Summit 2025 from Religions for Peace Bangladesh.The Chattogram Peace Summit 2025, organized by Religions for Peace Bangladesh (RPBD), convened on 6 September 2025 at the Chittagong Club Terrace Hall. Emergency Online Meeting with Religions for Peace Bangladesh Leaders

On August 30, Rev. Dr. Yoshinori Shinohara, Secretary-General of Religions for Peace Aisa (ACRP), his secretariat, and RfP Bangladesh held an emergency online meeting in response to the news that over 1,000 students had been killed in student protests and riots. We discussed the situation they are facing on the ground and what we can do now. In this meeting, four leaders from RfP Bangladesh participated. It was an significant opportunity for both the ACRP Secretariat and RfP Bangladesh to express their solidarity in acting for peace. The UNICEF, Religions for Peace, and Joint Learning Initiatives (JLI) have organized the Mind and Heart Dialogue Training of Trainers from 27 November to 1st December 2023 in Katmandu Nepal. The program was organized to train the coordinators of each country to implement the Mind-and-Heart Dialogue project in South Asian countries.
