Mr. Lawrence Chong was appointed as Asian Conference of Religions for Peace (ACRP)EC Member and Host Country Chairperson 30th May Colombo, Sri Lanka: The Asian Conference of Religions for Peace(ACRP), the region’s preeminent interreligious network, is pleased to welcome Mr. Lawrence Chong as an EC member and recognize him as the Host Country Chairman for the next Governance Assembly, which will be held in Singapore in 2026. The ACRP founding general assembly was held in Singapore in 1976, marking a significant milestone in bringing religions together for peace. National Chapters’ Report 2023-2024

Religions for Peace Asia is a dynamic Asian network working for world peace spreading from the Asia-Pacific region while respecting each other’s religions.Since the 2021 Tokyo Governance Assembly, each chapter has been actively engaged in peace activities with its neighbors and in cooperation with domestic governments and NGO organizations.
