Book Launch: Interreligious and Peace Education in Times of Crisis: A History of Religions for Peace

Religions for Peace
is honoured to invite you to the launch of a new book by Prof. Dr. Johannes Lähnemann and published by EB-Verlag, Berlin, titled Interreligious and Peace Education in Times of Crisis. A History of Religions for Peace

Interreligious and Peace Education in Times of Crisis traces the evolution of Religions for Peace over five decades, highlighting how faith communities have responded to violent conflict, social fragmentation, and the erosion of trust through sustained, multi-religious engagement and peace education.

Drawing on archival material, personal reflections, and years of field experience, Prof. Dr. Lähnemann offers a unique educational and historical perspective on how interfaith collaboration has served as a force for peacebuilding at both local and global levels.

The virtual launch will feature a presentation from Prof. Dr. Lähnemann, followed by a moderated discussion with preeminent religious leaders and academics and an interactive Q&A.
