Mr. Zhang Maoyu (People’s Republic of China)Mr. Zhang Maoyu was born in 1965, graduated from Tsinghua university in 1985, and got Master’s degree in 1987. He ever worked for China National Intellectual Property Administration, and China International Development Cooperation agency. From January 2024, he became Executive Vice President of China Committee on Religion and Peace (CCRP) and re-elected in July. In addition, he is also Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, and Vice President of China Economic and Social Council.

Rev. Dr. Yoshinori SHINOHARA (Japan, Buddhist)After graduating in 1998 from Gakurin Seminary in Tokyo, Rev. Dr. Yoshinori Shinohara received ordination as a Dharma Teacher in Rissho Kosei-Kai, a major Japanese Buddhist denomination. He received a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Bradford in 1998. He started to work for Religions for Peace Japan in 2005. He supported hosting the 8th World Assembly of Religions for Peace in Kyoto in 2006, and co-led the ARMS DOWN! Dr. Ahmad SUAEDY (Republic of Indonesia, Muslim)Ahmad Suaedy is Executive Director of the Abdurrahman Wahid Centre for Inter-Faith Dialogue and Peace-University of Indonesia (AWC-UI) Jakarta and senior researcher at the Wahid Institute in Jakarta. He was one of the founders and the former Executive Director of the Wahid Institute (2004-2012). Suaedy is leading the research about “Revitalized Tradition and Social Inclusion” by AWC-UI.
